Agricultural Secondary Containment Assistance Program (AgSCAP) – Edwards Aquifer Authority

Agricultural Secondary Containment Assistance Program (AgSCAP)

The Edwards Aquifer Authority (EAA) has established a program to financially assist with the secondary containment requirements found in Subchapter G of Section 713 of the EAA’s Rules for Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST).  The Agricultural Secondary Containment Assistance Program (AgSCAP) offers landowners located on the Recharge Zone, with registered AST system(s), an opportunity to obtain funding for upgrading a part or all their AST system.

Landowners interested in participating in the AgSCAP are required to complete an enrollment form, wherein they agree to allow the EAA and/or its consultants access to their property to conduct a site analysis and provide actual or estimated AST fill records to establish annual gallonage used at each AST.  Additionally, a tank integrity test may be performed on the regulated AST systems located on the property.

For more information please review the program information sheet. After reviewing it landowners may download and complete the enrollment form and return it to the EAA.
